Hamiling Bayawanon

The Hamiling Bayawanon Award is a recognition of a lifetime achievement made by a Bayawanon that brought pride, honor, and glory to Bayawan and the Bayawanons. This award is given to lifetime achievers in the field of Religion, Business and Entrepreneurship, Politics and Government, Education, Peace and Order, Medicine and Public Health, Social Services, Culture and the Arts, Sports, Science and Technology and such other fields deem appropriate for said award.

The awarding rites of the 1st Hamiling Bayawanon was held in the City Square during the Miss Bayawan 2001 Beauty Pageant. The awardees received a beautifully designed plaque-trophy from the city government.
