Former congressman and now Bayawan City Mayor Pryde Henry A. Teves led the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Bayawan City Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council on September 25, 2019, in the City's Legislative Bldg.
Gabriel Espinosa remains as chairman together with Diosdado Dandoy as Vice Chairperson and among its new set of officers.
Espinosa expressed his happiness over the trust given to CFARMC members that he remains as chairman. Espinosa also said that CFARMC programs will continue to provide and support the livelihood of the people.
Furthermore, Mayor Teves commended the CFARMC for their award received on September 10 in Cebu City, where they were honored as the Most Outstanding Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council in the entire region.
Mayor Teves also urged the CFARMC to encouraged to adopt crab production as an additional contributor to the development, especially in the fisherman's quarters.
