On September 20, 2019, the current DSWD USEC. Aimee T. Neri chaired a conference to all head offices of DSWD in the region headed by Regional Director Rebecca P. Geamala to discuss projects under DSWD particularly in the implementation of the Feeding Program.

This activity was personally attended by Bayawan CSWD Officer Mrs. Marchita Tuale which she presented all the successful activities of the city in the implementation of feeding program in accordance to R.A. No. 11037 or the “Masustansyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act” of 2018.

Dir. Geamala added that "We should take this opportunity to look back what Bayawan did in the implementation of the said program for what they did is different from the other LGUs."

Conforming to the message of Mayor Pryde Henry Teves, Board Member Jack Raymond also expressed his opinion that the said implementation of the program should be not only emulated in the province or region but also in the Philippines.

At the end of the meeting, Usec. Neri was very happy to all the initiatives of Bayawan and promised to give a positive response to the said program.
