To bring employers closer to the job applicants and to lower the unemployment rate, Bayawan City Cooperative and Manpower Development Office initiated a Job Career and Trade Fair 2019 held last October 18 at the BCTLDC building.

In fact, more than 400 applicants from Bayawan City and neighboring municipalities attended the event hoping for the opportunity to work locally or overseas.

Several employers were invited during this activity such as Cebu Mitsumi, JJ Dynamic Holdings, Qualfon, Lee Plaza Corp., Teletech, SPI, Eyequest Int' Manpower Services and more.

In behalf of the DOLE Province, Ms. Anita Melicor was very happy that Bayawan City held a Job Fair to assist job seekers.

According also to the head of CCMDO Mr. Efren Tuisa that this became successful because of the big support of Mayor Pryde Henry Teves to make every Metro Bayawanon employed.

During this activity, 82 local applicants were hired on the spot and 30 overseas applicants were already qualified for the final interview.
