TINO maintains its strength and is now approaching Cuyo Islands. At 7PM today, the center of Typhoon "π§ππ‘π’" was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Magsaysay, Palawan (10.9Β°N, 121.3Β°E), with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 180 km/h, while moving Northwestward at 15 km/h.
Based on our Local Flood Early Warning System (LFEWS), water levels in the upland barangays are returning to normal, but there's a potential rise in water level for lowland tributaries. The average accumulated rainfall in the City of Bayawan is estimated to be at 41.02 as of 8PM.
The local DRRM office is continuously monitoring the regional and local weather conditions and will be posting timely updates through official accounts.
