The City of Bayawan proudly celebrates the 3rd iBayaw ICT Month this June 2026, bringing together students, educators, professionals, and the community in a month-long showcase of technology, innovation, and digital empowerment.

The festivities officially begin on June 1 with a Monday Morning Announcement of ICT Month Activities, accompanied by video presentations and preparation activities to set the tone for the exciting weeks ahead. On June 2, a Guiding Light ceremony featuring a prayer and blessing marks the symbolic start of the celebration, followed by the ingress of participating merchants.
A major highlight takes place on June 3, with a motorcade and grand opening program, including the digital launch, ribbon-cutting for the ICT Expo Exhibit and Display, and a networking lunch for stakeholders and participants. This event sets the stage for collaboration and innovation among attendees.
Throughout the month, a series of engaging and educational activities will be conducted. From June 15 to 17, participants will take part in the “Build the Climate” Arduino-Based Weather Station Challenge and Power BI Training sessions, equipping learners with practical skills in data analytics and environmental technology.
On June 19, the spotlight turns to technical excellence with the Computer System Servicing Olympics, where participants will demonstrate their skills in troubleshooting, hardware servicing, and ICT problem-solving.
Innovation continues on June 22 with the much-anticipated iBayaw Robotics Competition, showcasing the creativity and ingenuity of young innovators as they design solutions to real-world challenges.
Career opportunities also take center stage on June 25 through the Local and Overseas Job Fair 2026: Integrating Digital Career Opportunities, connecting job seekers with employers and opening doors to careers in the digital and global workforce.
The celebration concludes on June 30 with a Closing and Awarding Ceremony, recognizing outstanding participants, partners, and contributors, along with the egress of merchants, marking the successful culmination of a month filled with learning, collaboration, and innovation.
