• Provides physical security for the local chief executives
• Provides security measures for classified documents and materials
• Conducts continuing background investigations and fitness of applicants
• Provides control for personnel and vehicle movement as may be required
• Reports security information and other security related concerns to the City Mayor and agency concerned
• Investigates security violations, security guards and watchmen
• Advices the head of agency on matters of security
• Performs such other functions as may be authorized by the local chief executives
• Conduct search and rescue operations
• Carry out emergency measures as may be necessary before, during and after occurrence of calamity/ disaster as Deputized
