The Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Negros Oriental Chapter, represented by their president, Atty. Pristine Martinez Raymond; IBP Negros Oriental Board of Director Atty. Nina Rica Ruperto-Teves; IBP-PPLM Chapter President representing IBP National, Atty. Danny L. Gapasin, Jr., attended the turnover of water filter buckets to selected barangays of Bayawan City.

The preferred benfeciaries are barangay Cansulamig, Kalamtukan, Mandu-ao and Tabuan. They were assessed as the barangays who needed the equipment. In the said event, Atty. Danny L. Gapasin demonstrated the proper way of using the water filter buckets. Moreover, he explained that it will help remove a large percentage of contaminants out of the water, potentially including dangerous waterborne bacteria.

The barangay captain of barangay Manduao, Soterania Evangelista expressed his gratitude to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Negros Oriental Chapter for the donated equipment which will surely aid the potable water source of some of the sitios in barangay Manduao.
